Although it is a national system, NLIS regulations vary between states and territories, as well as between livestock industries.

The National Livestock Identification System uses an approved visually recognisable  ear tag printed with a Property Identification Code (PIC) to trace an animal’s movements.

If you are not sure which tags you need, we will help you meet your NLIS obligations by ensuring you have the appropriate NLIS approved ear tags for your sheep, goats or cattle.
